SACRED SPACE VIII. Sacred Space

April 19 - May 3, 2019, Lviv, Ukraine

During the last years in the period of Great Lent and Easter in Lviv it is held an art project “Sacred Space” by NGO “NURT”. Artists from represent a new look at the sense of sacred/spiritual art. They are representing their sacred art works in a form of installations, videos and music performances.
That year project was held under the name "sacred space." His task was not only to go beyond the narrow confines of the canonical sacred art of understanding what it is - "Sacred space", but also together with the artists to think about what it represents for them, especially at a time when the exhibition spaces in Lviv are disappearing rather than appearing.
